Teil 2: Island von oben
Völlig neue Ansichten gewinnt man – von oben! Seit der Herbstreise 2017 ist die Drohne immer mit dabei und 2018 bin ich auf Empfehlung eines Facebookfreundes mit Hallor Kr Jonsson und seiner Cessna in die Luft. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Wir wollten von Selfoss aus über den Myrdalsjökull und den Mælifell nach Landmannalaugar. Zurück sollte es über Langisjör, die Lakikrater und die Südküste gehen. Das Wetter machte uns aber einen Strich durch die Rechnung, von Osten zogen tiefe Wolken auf. Wir sind dann Richtung NW ausgewichen, hinauf bis zum Langjökull , über den Þingvellir-Nationalpark und entlang des Flusses Oefulsa zurück nach Selfoss.
Part 2: Iceland from above
You get completely new views – from above! Since the autumn trip in 2017 the drone is always present and in 2018 I was on recommendation of a Facebook friend with Hallor Kr Jonsson and his Cessna in the air. An unforgettable experience! We wanted to go from Selfoss via Myrdalsjökull and Mælifell to Landmannalaugar. We should go back via Langisjör, the Lakikrater and the south coast. The weather, however, put a stop to our plans, deep clouds came up from the east. Then we made a detour towards NW, up to Langjökull, over Þingvellir National Park and along the river Oefulsa back to Selfoss.
